Working at VTS Pharma Transport Logistics
Lieke Verstralen Customer Service Warehouse
As Customer Service Warehouse staff, we are in daily contact with our customers. We are the first point of contact for customers with enquiries, but we also ensure that all orders are processed systematically. We act as the link between the customer and our colleagues in the warehouse. Every day is different and sometimes it takes a bit of figuring out the right way to handle a situation, but ultimately we work together to make sure it’s sorted. That gives us a real sense of satisfaction.
Evelien van de Weijer Project Manager
I liaise between departments within VTS and ensure that projects and implementations run smoothly. Working in collaboration with various teams, I keep a firm grip on operational processes and strategic issues. In a dynamic environment, where priorities can change rapidly, flexibility, a clear overview and decisiveness are essential. Bringing people, processes and ideas together to find the right solution is both the challenge and the joy of the job.
Richard Schutter International Driver
What makes my job as a driver at VTS so enjoyable is the variety. No two days are the same, and every journey brings something different. That’s why I enjoy hitting the road every day. As an international driver, you get to visit lots of different places and have plenty of contact with customers. They’re always happy to see us, and that interaction makes the work personal and enjoyable. It’s very rewarding. I’m proud to be able to drive my LZV in Scandinavia. It’s a great challenge!
Sander van Rhee Drivers & Fleet Supervisor
Every day is different. The fast-paced nature of the transport industry means you have to adapt constantly and come up with practical solutions. The vehicle fleet also plays an important role, so there’s always something that needs attention. It’s precisely that variety, the dynamic environment and the collaboration with drivers and colleagues that make my job so enjoyable.
Brian Hobé Warehouse Manager
Working in our warehouses is all about organisation, efficiency, quality and teamwork. From the moment goods arrive right through to dispatch, everything has to be just right. You’ll be switching between tasks frequently and sometimes need to come up with solutions quickly, but you’ll never be on your own. You’ll be part of a team that’s there for one another and really pulls together. Together, we ensure that everything keeps running smoothly and that quality remains high, so that customers can count on us.
Lieke Aerts HR Business Partner
Within HR, the impact of VTS’s growth is immediately noticeable, making the work dynamic and varied. There is close contact with colleagues, and everyone actively contributes ideas on how to optimise processes, with the human aspect taking centre stage. At the same time, there is scope for an informal atmosphere and a spirit of camaraderie, which contributes to a pleasant working environment. This combination makes the work very enjoyable and challenging.
Shelby Poen Warehouse Assistant
In the warehouse, we make sure everything is in order before it leaves the premises. We work with products that need to be handled with care, so checking them is important. At the same time, the work is practical and nice and active. You have your own responsibilities, but you work together as a team. Everyone helps each other to meet the schedule. That gives a real sense of satisfaction at the end of the day.
Marc Verheijen Last-Mile Driver
Ensuring all consignments reach the customer on time. That gives you a real sense of satisfaction, especially as they’re often already waiting for their delivery. What makes it even more enjoyable is that you get to visit a wide variety of places. You see different parts of the Benelux every single day. You also get to interact with customers. Just a quick chat – that makes all the difference. Having a cup of coffee with colleagues in the morning and training new drivers makes the work particularly rewarding for me.
